Bio

Sergio Contreras joined the College of the Sequoias Sports Medicine department in 2018 as an Athletic Trainer. He was born and raised in Hollister, CA and graduated from University of the Pacific with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training in 2013. Contreras was a Graduate Assistant at Chico State University, primarily working with the Men’s Soccer and Baseball programs between 2013-2015. He graduated from Chico State with a Master of Arts in Kinesiology and an emphasis in Athletic Training. From 2015 to 2018, Contreras worked at Pleasant Valley High School as the Head Athletic Trainer. He also worked the Stanford Men’s Soccer summer camps in 2014-2017.
