The COS women's basketball team will head to the state championships in Livermore on Thursday.
That evening the Giants will take part in the banquet of champions at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Concord at 6 p.m.
All the teams participating in the state championships will be honored.
COS will play Palomar College on Friday at 5 p.m. at Las Positas College in Livermore in the first round of the state championship final-eight tournament.
