Bio

Doug White's journey into coaching started when he was a 7th-grade English teacher and coached the Boys' Basketball program in Corcoran. He became the Varsity Girls' Basketball program at Corcoran High School for 22 of those years, and his influence transformed the team into a formidable Central Section program.

Throughout his coaching career, Coach White amassed 15 league championships and 10 Central Section Championships. When he retired from Corcoran in 2018, Coach White did so as the Central Section’s winningest Girls' coach.

One of his achievements in his coaching career was his recognition as the Cal-Hi Sports Division 4 State Coach of the Year in 2004. This accolade solidified him as a coaching legend in the region.

In 2010-2011, Coach White took on a new chapter in his coaching journey when he joined the Women’s Basketball staff at the College of the Sequoias. This move further demonstrated his commitment to sharing his wisdom and passion for the game.
