Women's soccer two-game winning streak was snapped on Friday as they were defeated 7-0 by Las Positas.
COS (2-5-1) were down 3-0 just 20 minutes into the game when Britni Myhre, Paulina Gonzalez, and Maya Lopez found the back of the net for the Hawks. Las Positas weren't done as Yesica Morales and Camila Fonseca helped bring the Hawks first half goal total to six.
Las Positas forward Aimee Ryan added the seventh goal in the 68th minute.
Hawks goalkeepers saved seven of the Lady Giants shots.
Sequoias will now begin Central Valley Conference play as they host Cerro Coso on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
