The College of the Sequoias women's soccer team opened up its 2017 regular season with a 3-0 win over Siskiyous on Friday.
Giants forward Jennifer Recendiz found the back of the net with a powerful, right-footed strike.

COS travels to Oxnard Sept. 1-3 for the Seabreeze Tournament. The Giants are scheduled to face Citrus on Friday at 4 p.m. to begin the tournament. Saturday's opponent is to be announced, and Sequoias rounds out the tournament with hosts Oxnard on Sunday at noon.
