Meet COS Women's Soccer Student-Athlete Jessica Glick
Meet Jessica Glick:
Jessica is a sophomore sweeper and defender on the COS women's soccer team. She is one of the team's top performing returners from last year's team. Jessica is pursuing a degree in nursing and plans on transferring to Fresno State after her time at COS to finish all of her upper division prerequisites to get into a nursing program preferably at either Long Beach State or San Diego State. Jessica plans on continuing to play soccer for a club team at the university level. Jessica is an excellent student and has been nominated by COS to be a part of the California Community College All-Scholar Athlete Team. Jessica chose College of the Sequoias because she needed a little extra time to figure out her career goals and that she could begin to complete lower division college coursework that would count towards her bachelor's degree while playing soccer on the COS team. Jessica comes from an athletic family with her dad, Joel Glick, who competed in football and track and field in the late 1980's and her mom, Michelle, who competed in track and field at Golden West. A few little known facts about Jessica is that she loves to cliff jump up in Sequoia National Park and she owns a bearded dragon named Larry. Come watch Jessica play at COS on Saturday September 23rd at 11am or on Tuesday September 26th at 1pm on the campus of COS.
