Men's and Women's basketball are back in action

Both the COS men's and women's basketball teams start to play this weekend in tournaments across the state.

The fourth-ranked women's team travels up north to compete in the Jocelyn Mancebo Tournament at San Joaquin Delta. COS won the tournament last season by defeating San Joaquin Delta 77-62. Sequoias play Sacramento City on Friday, with the tournament running through Sunday.

The men's team travels to San Luis Obispo and will play in the Cuesta Tournament. Sequoias is slated to play Cuesta on Friday, Santa Barbara on Saturday, and Allan Hancock on Sunday.
