The Giants go 1-1 at the Golden Gate Classic

Day 1 vs City College of San Francisco 

The Giants fell short in the end as San Francisco won 59-56.  Alex Argandar (Modesto, CA) played a pivotal role, as he led the team with 8 assists. Davis White (Santa Clarita, CA) displayed his shooting by having 12 points and securing critical baskets for the Giants. Jose Cuello (Harlem, NY) added another 12 points to their tally. 

The frontcourt presence was evident through the efforts of Cameron Clark (Gwinnett, GA) and Jaylon Lee (Las Vegas, NV). Clark had a strong performance as he had 10 rebounds and 3 blocks, while Lee had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while being perfect from the field going 6-6. Off the bench, Omari Nesbit (Sacramento, CA) and Jaden Haire (Hanford West HS) provided contributions by showcasing their skillsets by tallying a combined 17 points.

Day 2 vs San Joaquin Delta College  

The Giants bounce back with a 77-72 victory for San Joaquin Delta. Jose Cuello stood out as he led the team in scoring with 24 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, and leading them to a 77-72 victory. Supporting his efforts was Cameron Clark, who showed his presence in the paint as he had a double-double with 17 points and 17 rebounds. The depth of the Giants' bench was evident, as Omari Nesbit had 7 points and 3 rebounds, Jaylon Lee had 6 points and 4 rebounds, and Jaden Haire who had 4 points and 6 rebounds.  

Despite Delta's efforts, Sequoias' defense held strong and maintained composure, fending off a late-game surge by getting crucial stops to secure the victory. 

Alex Argandar contributed 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Kion Hayes (Savannah, GA) and Samuel Bazunga (Paris, France) provided valuable support off the bench, adding 6 and 6 points respectively. 

5-Game Homestand 

The College of the Sequoias Giants now head home to defend their home court as they have a 5 game homestand, which begins on Tuesday, December 5th when they take on Palo Verde at 7:30 PM.
