COS Cant Hang On In Overtime

The COS men's basketball team opened the season Friday afternoon in the Cuesta College tournament against Allan Hancock College. COS fell in overtime 88-85. Dida Pereira led the way for the Giants with 26 points and 6 rebounds. Kody Wilson chipped in with 14 points and point guard Simon Krajovice finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists. "We played hard. We just needed to make one more play in overtime and just didn't do it. Our hats are off to Hancock College" said COS head coach Rusty Smith

COS takes on West Valley College on Saturday at 1pm at the Cuesta College tournament.
