COS Falls to #2 San Bernadino
Game 11: San Bernardino Valley College 72 College of the Sequoias 62: Dida Pereira continued his stellar play inside for the Giants but it wouldn't be enough as COS fell to the #2 ranked team in the south SBVC. "I was pleased with our effort," said Coach Rusty Smith of COS , "we had a drought with about 10 minutes to go in the game and that was the difference. San Bernadino played great and they deserve it."
Kody Wilson came off the bench to score 14 points for COS and Derek Check and Kyle Hurt also contributed with double digits with 11 and 10 respectively. Dida Pereira and Derek Check received all-tournament team for COS.
COS next faces Ohlone College on Wednesday December 30th at 5pm at the COS Porter Field House.

Game 9: Cerritos 78 Shasta 68 (Consolation Finals): Cerritos received 20 points from all-tournament selection Dillon Reise as Cerritos defeated Shasta 78-68 on the final day of the tournament to take home the consolation championship.
Game 10: Ventura 91 Oxnard 83: Point guard Elijah Brown scored 31 points for Ventura which included going 18-21 from the free throw line to propel Ventura over conference rival Oxnard on the final day of the tournament. Brown also received an all-tournament team award for his efforts over the three days.
