Lady Giants Advance In Winner's Bracket

The COS women's basketball team defeated San Jose City College last night 66-59 in the first round of the Delta College Tournament in Stockton. Sophomore Leigha Moland paced the Giants with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Dakota Oliver chipped in with 12 points and 7 rebounds. "We fought all forty minutes. I was pleased with our effort. It's early and we have some improving to do but overall it wasn't bad for a first game" said COS head coach Ray Alvarado. 

COS will now take on American River College at 5pm in Delta College Tournament second round.
