COS defeats Taft in Conference Opener

COS opened conference play at home with a convincing win over Taft College 75-44. Three Giants posted double-double's with Idalis Rubalcava with 21 points and 12 rebounds, Alexandria Tobie with 11 points and 16 rebounds, and Dakota Oliver with 12 points and 11 rebounds. 

"This girls played hard," said COS coach Ray Alvarado. "It was nice for us to control the glass like we did." 

COS will now travel to Merced College on Wednesday night.
