
COS Swimmers Continue to Produce Personal Bests'
The COS swim and dive team have gotten off to a fast start under first year head coach Ally Briano. This past weekend three more COS swimmers produced their personal lifetime best at the Cuesta Invite.
Madeline Pace, a sophomore from Golden West High School in Visalia produced a lifetime best in the 100 back stroke with a time of 106.4. Later in the meet she set the school record in the mile with a time of 20:21. "She looked great" said Briano, "she continues to get faster every time out."
Others who produced personal best times were Andrea Ross (Tulare Union) and Madelyn Shandrew (Redwood) in the 100 free with times of 59 seconds.
On the men's team, James Petree (Redwood) swam personal best in the 100 free (49.6) and the 50 free (22.8).
"I'm excited and proud of how the team is progressing" said Briano, the team continues to work hard and we are looking forward to seeing what we can do down the stretch of the season."
COS host their lone swim meet on Friday March 23rd at 2:30pm at the newly renovated COS pool.
