Giants compete in Oxnard Seabreeze Tournament
The College of the Sequoias women's soccer team was held scoreless throughout the duration of the Oxnard Seabreeze Tournament.
COS played two matches during the weekend, drawing 0-0 against Citrus in their first match on Friday. The Giants defense held Citrus scoreless with the help of goalkeeper Hannah Sherwood's 14 saves.
On Sunday, Sequoias were defeated 3-0 by Oxnard. The Giants allowed the Condors to score in the 17th-minute, and the Condors would tack on two more goals in the second half.
Sherwood registered 10 saves in the defeat.
The Giants embark on a three match road trip, starting Wednesday against Sierra. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 5 p.m.
