COS Tennis defeats Modesto in Round 1 of State Playoffs
COS Tennis will prepare for West Valley after a successful first round versus Modesto
COS Tennis is off to a hot playoff start after a successful 1st round 8-1 victory versus Modesto.
Elizabeth Gormley (Redwood) captured the victory in a 6-0 sweep in both sets.
Madelyn Adams (Redwood), Liliana Silveira (Tulare Western), Tillie Wendt (Exeter), Brooke Ray (Mt. Whitney), and Sahara Hannon (Mt. Whitney) all were crowned winners in their single matches.
The Giants capture two victories in doubles, Elizabeth Gormley (Redwood) and Isabella Estrada (Mt. Whitney) teamed up to get the job done. Brooke Ray (Mt. Whitney) and Sahara Hannon (Mt. Whitney) showed they are a good duo as well with their victory.
The Giants will travel to West Valley for Round Two on Tuesday April 18, matches will start at 1:00pm.
