
Three Giants sign National Letters of Intent for baseball
Art Joven, Wyatt Tilley, and Sagun Gainey each signed National Letters of Intent to division one universities.
Joven signed with the University of Missouri. The Bakersfield native struck out 57 batters while going 4-3 in 2017.
Tilley inked with the University of Nevada Reno. The future Wolf Pack member was named to the All-Conference first team in 2017. The Golden West High School alum led Sequoias in batting average (.324), hits (56), and total bases (69).
Gainey signed his letter of intent with Long Beach State. He was 6-4 last season with the Giants, and the Tehachapi native led the team with a 2.90 ERA in 87 innings pitched.
