COS Football Beats Delta on the Road
Giants football traveled to Stockton this past weekend to face the San Joaquin Delta Mustangs. The Giants played a good overall game on both sides of the ball and came out on top with the win by a score of 34-9. The Giants are now 1-1 in Valley Conference Play.
The Giants were up 26-0 when the Mustangs scored a touchdown of their own that made the score 26-6 by halftime. COS would later add another touchdown in the 3rd quarter when Quarterback Nate Hughes plunged in a quarterback keeper. Delta College would make the final score of the game when they kicked a field goal to make the final score 34-9. "It was a good overall team effort by the guys. We have continued to remain competitive and have had some good bright spots over the past month. We were able to put it all together last Saturday" said COS Coach Joe D'Agostino.
