Giants Softball Advance into Post Season Play
Giants travel to West Valley, first round for NorCal State Playoffs

The Giants softball team is back in the state playoffs after a one year absence.
Sequoias, 24-11 overall and second in the conference with an 11-4 mark, drew the #14 seed in the Northern California playoffs and will travel to #3 seeded West Valley College in Saratoga.
Bailee Bustos (Mission Oak) recorded 8 wins while striking out 108 batters in the regular season. There are a number of big bats in the Giants lineup, Madisen Shimmon (Hanford West), Emily Ibarra (Redwood), Shalom Sanchez (Tulare Union) and Nataly Espinoza (Shafter) currently hold a batting average of .400 or better.
The best-of-three series with West Valley begins Friday at 2 p.m.
West Valley is 28-8 for the season.
