Denise Elias-Martinez scored an unassisted goal in the 11th minute and Reedley made it stand the rest of the way as the Tigers beat Sequoias 1-0 on Sept. 28 to open Central Valley Conference women's soccer play.
The Giants (1-5-0, 0-1-0) finished with 12 shots on goal, but goalkeeper Lucy Chavez saved them all for Reedley (5-2-1, 1-1-0).
Katie Crawshaw (Kingsburg) made seven saves for Sequoias.
The Giants also lost its final nonconference game of the season, 7-0 at Sierra College in Rocklin.
Sierra received a hat trick from Charity Myers.
Sequoias will resume conference play at 3 p.m. Oct. 5 at Merced (2-4-2, 1-1-0). The Giants will also play this week at West Hills-Lemoore (3-3-1, 0-1-0) at 4 p.m. Oct. 8.
