COS Volleyball Climbs to #13 in State Rankings
COS Volleyball climbs the state rankings to #13:
In the latest state poll, COS climbed to #13 in the state and will take the floor in a home league contest versus Reedley College this Wednesday at 7pm at the COS Porter Field House. The Giants are coming off a week where they went 1-1, losing to Fresno and capturing a victory versus West Hills Lemoore with a 3-0 sweep. COS has been the beneficiary of great defensive play this year led by Jacki Luna (El Diamante), Brook Hatch (Immanuel), and Ashley Barrera (Golden West) who all have over 150 digs on the season to date. "They are a fun group to coach," said COS Head Coach Kim Rix, "they are so coachable, they play hard, and we continue to get better each time out. We just need to take it one match at a time."
