Men's Basketball Goes on the Road to Defeat Columbia
The COS men's basketball team kept their playoff hopes alive Wednesday night by going on the road and defeating Columbia College by a score of 86-74. Both teams entered the game 4-2 in conference play and the win puts COS a half-game ahead of Columbia and West Hills who are now both 5-3. "It was a good win for us last night. Columbia has a good team and we played well enough to win. I was proud of how the guys competed in a game of this magnitude on the road" said COS head coach Rusty Smith. Dida Pereira led the Giants with 29 points in the win.
