Men's Basketball Stays Alive In State Playoffs
The COS men's basketball team defeated Cabrillo College 76-70 last Saturday night in overtime. Just when it looked like COS was beginning to falter, Dida Pereira hit two three point baskets in the final minute to force overtime. "It was an unbelievable performance" said head coach Rusty Smith, "we needed a spark and Dida and our community provided us with the energy we needed to get the win."
#5 COS now travels on Wednesday night to face #4 Las Positas College in the state playoff round of 16.
