#5 Giants Go on a 3-Game Winning Streak

In the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northern California Ranking, COS was ranked #5. The Giants got the win 9-0 in their match against Porterville College. Summer Herrera (Mt. Whitney HS) and Brooke Ray (Sierra Pacific HS) wons-1 in #1 doubles. In #3 singles, Tillie Wendt (Exeter HS) won in straight sets (6-1, 6-1). Cailyn Jensen (Redwood HS) won in straight sets (6-1, 6-0). Hannah Salazar (Tulare Western HS) also performed well by winning straight sets (6-0, 6-0). 

The Giants took on Reedley College by winning 9-0. In #2 doubles, Brooke Ray and Herlinda Barrios (Exeter HS) won 8-0. In #2 singles, Brooke Ray won in straight sets (6-0, 6-0). In #5 singles, Cailyn Jensen also won in straight sets by going 6-0, 6-0.  

In their most recent match, they took on Fresno City. Two weeks ago, the Giants traveled to Fresno City and lost 7-2. They bounced back as they won the match 5-4. They got their first point of the day in #3 singles as Tillie Wendt and Cailyn Jensen won 8-1. In #1 singles, Summer Herrera won in straight sets by going 6-3, 7-5. The Giants clinched the win by gaining their 5th point of the day in #5 singles with Cailyn Jensen winning in straight sets (6-2, 6-4). 

COS will now host Porterville College this Friday, March 8 at 12 pm.
