COS' Pilgrim named state player of the week
Christa Pilgrim landed her season high of 23 kills (hit .404) and had 17 digs in Sequoias' regular season finale 4-set win over Taft. She earlier posted 17 kills in hitting .381 and made nine digs in a 4-set triumph over Merced. Her performance helped COS earn a NorCal Playoff seed. This is COS' fourth straight trip to the NorCal regional playoffs. "Christa has been performing at a high level for most of the season. She is coachable and tough. Our team leans on her at crucial times in the matches" said COS head coach Kim Rix
