The Giants go 1-1 at the Golden Gate Classic
Day 1 vs City College of San Francisco
The Giants fell short in the end as San Francisco won 59-56. Alex Argandar (Modesto, CA) played a pivotal role, as he led the team with 8 assists. Davis White (Santa Clarita, CA) displayed his shooting by having 12 points and securing critical baskets for the Giants. Jose Cuello (Harlem, NY) added another 12 points to their tally.
The frontcourt presence was evident through the efforts of Cameron Clark (Gwinnett, GA) and Jaylon Lee (Las Vegas, NV). Supporting his efforts was Cameron Clark, who showed his presence in the paint as he had a double-double with 17 points and 17 rebounds. The depth of the Giants' bench was evident, as Omari Nesbit had 7 points and 3 rebounds, Jaylon Lee had 6 points and 4 rebounds, and Jaden Haire who had 4 points and 6 rebounds.
Despite Delta's efforts, Sequoias' defense held strong and maintained composure, fending off a late-game surge by getting crucial stops to secure the victory.
