Giants compete against Olympian and former COS track star in Mt. Sac Relays
Former College of the Sequoias track star and 2016 United States Olympian, Deajah Stevens, captured first place in the 100m at the Mt. Sac Relays. The junior from the University of Oregon ran 11.00.
In comparison to Stevens's time, COS freshman Tarika Moses ran 11.94, which was good for 31st place.
The Sequoias women's 4x400m relay team beat NCAA Division One programs Tulane, Iowa, and Ole Miss, with their third place finish at 3:48.26.
Quincy Hall placed first in the 400m hurdles at 45.12, defeating competitors from Oregon, Iowa, and Tulane.
