Giants to open conference play at state-ranked Modesto
COS (3-2) was idle on Oct. 12.
The Giants return to action at 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at Modesto (4-1), which is ranked No. 6 in the state in the JC Athletic Bureau Coaches Poll and No. 3 in the California Community College Sports Information Association poll.
COS dropped out of both state Top 25 polls following a 20-7 loss at Shasta on Oct. 5. The Giants received six points in the JCABCP and 10 points from the CCCSIA.
COS' next home game is set for Oct. 26 against San Joaquin Delta (2-3). The Giants' homecoming game will kickoff at 7 p.m. from Giant Chevrolet and Cadillac Mineral King Bowl.
