Austin Armstead and the College of the Sequoias men's basketball team blew past Cerro Coso 106-47 on Wednesday night at Porter Field House.
Armstead scored 19 points shooting 7-of-13 from the field, and was a perfect 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.
Sequoias' bench contributed 57 points in the victory over Cerro Coso, with Tyrone Givance, Kody Wilson, and Kentrey Bynum each chipping in 14 points. Givance tallied a double-double by grabbing 12 rebounds.
The Giants embark on a four-game road trip starting Saturday night in Porterville. Tip-off between the Pirates and Giants is set for 5 p.m.
