
Women's Soccer can't tame Wolverines

VISALIA - Women's Soccer (0-3-1) dropped their third straight game of the season as they lost 3-0 to Sierra on Friday.
Sierra scored in the 20' when Lashaa Robinzine delivered the ball to Monica Guzman. The Wolverines took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
COS did not find any luck in the second half. Sierra took a 2-0 lead in the 58' as Kinsey Del Rio found the back of the net. Emma Mason gave COS the dagger in the 80' when her 18 yard strike found the upper corner of the net., giving Sierra the 3-0 lead.
Wolverine goalie Jamie Goodwin only needed to save two Giant shots in 80 minutes. Elizabeth Daner had 10 minutes of work for Sierra, but did not register a save.
Sequoias goalkeepers Aubrey Mills and Ysabel Solorzano did not save any of Sierra's shots.
The Giants will host Lake Tahoe on Saturday, at the COS Campus. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
