Women's Soccer won their second straight match by defeating Cuesta 2-1 Saturday morning.
Sophomore forward Karina Araujo (Mission Oak) recorded her first goals of the season as she scored both for the Giants.
COS was never in trouble as Cuesta's goal came in the last couple seconds of the game.
Head coach Ryan Rowland-Smith is happy that his team is getting on track and getting positive results.
"It feels good," Rowland-Smith said. "[The] girls are improving and getting healthy again."
The Lady Giants next game will be their first road game of the season. COS will travel to Livermore on Friday Oct. 7 to play Las Positas at 3 p.m.
