CLOVIS - COS Women's Soccer ended in defeat, as they lost 4-0 to Clovis CC on Friday.
The Crush (10-3-5, 8-2 CVC) were led by forward Branisia Sproule's two goals. Marciela Soto and Cheyenne Martin also got on the score sheet. Goalkeeper Kalina Goodarzi recorded her eighth shutout of the season.
COS finishes their season 4-12-1 and 2-7 in conference. Sophomore midfielder Mariana Flores and freshman forward Hunter Lapp were the leading scorers this season, tied with six goals a piece.
Flores also adds two shutouts and two wins as a goalkeeper.
"I am proud of them," head coach Ryan Rowland-Smith said. "We played with low numbers all year. The girls kept working hard and doing their best. The results did always go the way we wanted them to but we did our best each time we took the field."
