FRESNO - Women's Soccer got shutout 10-0 on the road by Fresno City on Friday.
"We discussed our mistakes after the game," head coach Ryan Rowland-Smith said. "Each day is a new day and game."
The No.10 nationally ranked Rams (14-3-2, 7-0-1 CVC) scored six goals in the first 17 minutes. COS (3-11-1, 1-6 CVC) defense would hold strong for the remaining 38 minutes of the first half. In the second half, the Giants defense would collapse in the last 15 minutes, with the Rams going on to score four more goals.
The Giants will have their home finale on Tuesday against West Hills Lemoore at 1 p.m.
"We cannot change the score today, but we just need to work harder for a better result on Tuesday," Rowland-Smith said.
