Women's Soccer got their first win of the season as they defeated College of the Siskiyous 4-3 on Saturday.
Marianna Flores scored the game winning goal with less than a minute left in the game. In addition to the game winner, she scored the other three Giant goals. Flores is now tied with Hunter Lapp for the most goals this season with four a piece.
COS goalkeeper Ysabel Solorzano played all 90 minutes and registered four saves.
"We had been playing well the whole game but we also had been trading goals with the other team," head coach Ryan Rowland Smith said. "We had a good build up and the girls finished well in front of the goal. It was a great team effort."
The women's next game is Saturday at home vs. Cuesta, with kickoff scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
