Giants struggle in a three-match weekend
The College of the Sequoias volleyball team struggled to win a set over a three-match weekend.
COS was swept a combined 9-0 by Fresno City, Cabrillo, and Feather River. The Giants battled against the Rams on Friday but fell 25-18, 25-22, and 25-20.
In the Cabrillo 3-way, the hosts downed Sequoias 25-16, 25-16, and 25-13 on Saturday morning. COS could not break down Feather River in the afternoon, falling 25-13, 25-15, and 25-16.
Next up for Sequoias is a road matchup against West Hills Coalinga at 6 p.m.
