The College of the Sequoias volleyball team's season came to an end in the first round of the CCCAA State Playoffs.
COS fell 3-1 to West Valley on Saturday.
The Giants took a highly contested first set 25-23, but could not get another set victory.
Phoebe Todenhoft had a team-high 28 digs. Payton Trimm and Emily Soto each had 10 kills in the defeat.
Sequoias season record finishes at 13-10 overall and 11-5 in the Central Valley Conference.
