
Quincy Hall Advances to 2024 Paris Olympics 400m Finals
Quincy Hall finished 1st in the 400m Semifinals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Hall will advance to the finals, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7.
In the semifinals of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Hall finished 1st with a time of 43.95, in a heat that saw Trinadad & Tobango Jereem Richards finished 2nd and Republic of Botsawana's Busang Kebinatshipi finished in 3rd.
Hall, a former student-athlete at College of the Sequoias, who made his mark by setting school records in the 400m, 400m hurdles, and 4 x 400m relay, which still stand to this day. He continued to excel at University of South Carolina by earning first-team All-American honors multiple times. His consistent performance throughout the season has been a key factor in his advancement to the finals.
Hall's journey began at College of the Sequoias, where he quickly became a standout athlete, earning multiple conference titles and setting records that still stand today. His transition to South Carolina saw him continue this upward trajectory, culminating in his success at the national level.
The men's 400m final is set to begin tomorrow at 12:20 pm.
