After a 66-37 victory Saturday over Reedley, the fourth-ranked College of the Sequoias women's basketball team had a rare Wednesday night off in Central Valley Conference play.
The Giants start their own four-game road trip in Porterville with tip-off set for 3 p.m. against the Pirates.
Shae Sanchez and Dejanee Gill each scored 11 points in Sequoias' blowout victory against the Tigers. Guard Hailey Scott played 22 minutes, pulled down 14 rebounds and contributed 8 points.
Sequoias are currently second in the Central Valley Conference at 3-1 and 19-2 overall in the 2017-2018 season.
