
COS Women’s Basketball Season Recap
The College of the Sequoias women's basketball season came to an end in the first round of the state basketball championships. They ended their season at 28-4. The Giants had an excellent overall season. They tied for the conference championship and advanced to the state championships for a second year in a row. They were 13-0 at home and defeated Mt. San Antonio 64-51 to win the Gilcrest tournament. They allowed 51.4 points per game and scored 73.3 points per game. There were contributions from everyone on the team as they averaged 14.2 assists per game. Zharia McCollum lead the team with 10.7 points per game. N'Dea Jones lead the team with 7.5 rebounds per game. The Giants had ten freshman on the team who gained valuable experience throughout the year.
