Second-half explosion carries Clovis past COS
After playing a scoreless first half, COS allowed two goals by Alexa Patton during a 4-0 Central Valley Conference home loss to Clovis on Oct. 18.
Karyme Hernandez added a goal and an assist for the Crush (4-5-2, 2-0-0).
Maria Corral (Farmersville) and Kamryn Berry (Tulare Western) had the only shots on goal for the Giants (6-4-2, 0-2-0).
COS goalkeeper Ciana Koo (Woodlake) had two saves.
The Giants are set to host Taft (7-4-2, 2-0-0) at 1 p.m. Oct. 22 on their campus field, then will play at Reedley (6-4-1, 0-2-0) at 5 p.m. Oct. 30.
