Giants tie Reedley, play at West Hills-Lemoore next
COS snapped a three-match losing streak to a 1-1 Central Valley Conference tie at Reedley on Oct. 25.
The Giants (6-5-3, 0-3-1) opened a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute when Kamryn Berry (Tulare Western) headed in a corner kick from Maria Corral (Farmersville).
But the Tigers (7-4-2, 1-2-1) equalized in the 45th minute, also off a corner kick.
COS goalkeeper Ciana Koo (Woodlake) finished with eight saves.
The Giants return to action at 4 p.m. Oct. 29 at West Hills-Lemoore (6-6-1, 0-4-0). It's the second of five straight road games for COS, including a match at 4 p.m. Nov. 1 at state No. 3-ranked Fresno City (15-0-1, 4-0-0).
COS' next home game is set for 1 p.m. Nov. 12 against Reedley.
