Giants' road trip continues; home debut awaits Feb. 14
College of the Sequoias' softball team opened a four-games-in-three-days trip through Northern California with an 11-0, five-inning loss at San Jose on Feb. 6.
A third-inning single by Callie Vincent (Woodlake) was the only hit the Giants (1-4) received against Jaguars' pitchers Jessell Lewis and Sara Nielsen.
COS plays at Ohlone at 1 p.m. Feb. 7, at Solano at 10 a.m. Feb. 8, and against Shasta at noon Feb. 8 at Solano as the rod trip continues.
The Giants' home opener is set for Feb. 14, when they host Gavilan at 10 a.m. and Sierra at 2 p.m. COS will also play a doubleheader against Chabot on Feb. 15, with games scheduled to start at noon and 2 p.m.
