Giants set to host state No. 11 Clovis

COS (2-5-2, 0-1) resumes Central Valley Conference play on Oct. 4 when it hosts state No. 11-ranked Clovis (6-3-1, 0-1).
The match starts at 4 p.m. from the Giants' campus field.
Taft (3-5-1, 1-0) beat COS 2-0 in both team's conference opener on Oct. 1.
After combining for 10 goals in wins over Victor Valley and Siskiyous on Sept. 20-21, the Giants have been shutout in back-to-back games.
Jose Cardenas (Delano) has led COS offensively with four goals and two assists. Alex Saldana (El Diamante) has added three goals and two assists.
