Giants to host state No. 20 Modesto
COS (3-9-2 overall, 0-3-0 Central Valley Conference) is set to close out its non-conference schedule Oct. 25 when it hosts state No. 20-ranked Modesto (8-5-2).
Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. from the school's campus field.
The Giants have dropped three straight non-conference matches, the latest a 7-0 defeat against No. 10 San Joaquin Delta in Stockton on Oct. 22.
Lucas Durval scored two goals and contributed an assist for the Mustangs (9-3-3).
COS returns to conference play at 2 p.m. Oct. 29 on the road against No. 3 Fresno City (10-0-5, 3-0-0).
It's the first of four straight road games for the Giants, who next play at home at 3 p.m. Nov. 15 against Fresno City.
