Clovis pulls away from Giants in second half
Alton Yokley's goal off a Jordan Wilkins assist in the 75th minute put state No. 11-ranked Clovis (7-3-1, 1-1-0) ahead for good, and the Crush went on to defeat COS 4-2 in a Central Valley Conference match on Oct. 4
The Giants (2-6-2, 0-2-0) led 2-1 after goals in the 25th and 55th minutes but couldn't hold on while dropping their third straight match.
COS' next match is set for 4 p.m. Oct. 8 against West Hills-Lemoore at Riverway Sports Park.
