VISALIA - Volleyball extends their win streak to three games as they defeated Cerro Coso 3-0 on Saturday.
COS took the first set easily 25-10, but struggled to tame the Coyote's in the last two. Sequoias won both by a combined margin of five, 25-23 and 25-22.
Sophomore outside hitter Gabi Crookshanks (Exeter) led the team in kills with 12. Crookshanks now has 54 kills this 2016 season.
Freshman setter Dulany Jones (Lemoore) had 11 assist off the bench for the Giants. Valerie Vargas (Exeter) had three service aces and Brittney Roush (El Diamante) finished with ten digs.
The Giants will travel to Reedley on Wednesday; squaring off against the Pirates. The match is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
