Volleyball swept Reedley 3-0 Wednesday night as they improve to 3-0 in conference and 6-2 overall.
COS took the first set easily, 25-15. The Tigers made the next two sets interesting, but the Giants held on 25-21 and 25-19.
Sophomores Gabi Crookshanks (Exeter) and Idalis Rubalcava (Sierra Pacific) provided the offensive spark while freshmen middle blocker Jacey Davis (Redwood) and sophomore libero Brittney Roush (El Diamante) provided tough defense to lead the Giants.
"We played an overall good match" said COS head coach Kim Rix. "We consistently played well from start to finish and limited our own unforced errors."
The Giants will travel to Monterey on Friday; squaring off against the Lobos. The match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
