
Volleyball extend their winning streak to four straight matches
COALINGA - COS Volleyball stay in second place after defeating West Hills Coalinga 3-0 on Friday.
Sequoias (14-4, 11-1 CVC) toughest set was the first, as they won 25-15. They were led by Idalis Rubalcava and Gabi Crookshanks who each had 7 kills on the night.
In the second set, COS cruised to a 25-10 victory with the help of Dulany Jones. She led the team in assists with 15.
Sequoias would win the third set by a whopping 16 point difference, 25-9. Valerie Vargas had a helping hand in the big victory as she contributed 11 assists.
Brittany Roush led COS in digs with 12
The Lady Giants will host fourth-place Merced on Wednesday at 6 p.m. In their last meeting, the Lady Blue Devils forced the match to a fifth set. COS ultimately won 3-2 on Sept. 30.
