Meet COS Freshmen Andrew Azua
Andrew Azua is a freshmen running back out of Sanger High School. Andrew currently leads the Giants in total rushing yards through the first five games of the season and has scored two touchdowns. Andrew chose COS over numerous schools because he felt comfortable with the coaching staff and believed he could develop as a student-athlete at COS. Andrew comes from an athletic family with his father, brother, and two of his three sisters competed on varsity teams while they were at Sanger High.
A little known fact about Andrew is that he loves to go fishing at Shaver Lake and he was introduced to fishing as a child by his aunt and uncle.
After COS Andrew would like to go to a four year university to continue his football playing career and finish his degree in Ag Business. Come watch Andrew and the rest of the COS football team this Saturday at 7:30pm at the Mineral King Bowl in Visalia as they take on Modesto College.
