COS bounce back with a victory over West Hills
Giants pitcher Ashley Paradine earned her eighth victory of the season in the circle on Tuesday's 6-2 victory over West Hills-Coalinga.
COS (15-7, 5-1 CVC) wasted no time tagging Falcons pitcher Chase Martinez. In the bottom of the first, Brittney Howard tripled to score Alondra Zavala and Madison Montemayor. Howard would cross the plate on Josey Burke's RBI fielder's choice.
Sequoias added one run in the third, fourth, and fifth inning to seal the win.
Howard led COS at the plate, knocking in two runs on three hits in the Central Valley Conference matchup.
The Giants are currently second in the CVC standings and will host seventh place Porterville in a doubleheader on Thursday. First pitch for game one is at 1 p.m., with game two slated for 3 p.m.
