
Giants season ends with a first round exit

The 10-seed College of the Sequoias softball team saw their season end by giving up six unanswered runs to No. 7 Ohlone in Saturday's 6-5 loss.
The Giants were up 5-0 in the top of the fifth after Madison Montemayor and Breanne Tabarez combined for two RBI each.
Ohlone plated three runs in the bottom of the fifth with the help of Sam Adami's bat.
After scoring a run in the sixth, the Renegades walked-off in the bottom of the seventh to take the series sweep.
Nalani Scates tossed a complete game for Ohlone, striking out eight Giants.
Ashley Paradine pitched six innings for COS, giving up three runs. Ashley Guzman threw one inning, allowing three runs to cross the plate.
With the first round playoff exit, COS finishes their season at 25-15 overall.
